Another addicting read from the authors of The Wife Between Us, dynamic duo Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen.

Quick chapters that alternate POVs, which I absolutely love; it will be easy to whip through this one saying “just one more chapter.” This psychological thriller will have you looking over your shoulder to see if anyone is following you.

Jessica is Subject 52 in Dr. Shields ethics and morality study. When she suddenly becomes the only subject in the study things take a wild turn. I don’t want to say anything further or bring up other characters as I don’t want to give anything away. Just know that it builds up chapter by chapter and the ending comes full circle.

You may think you know what’s going on, but then a subtle plot point makes you change your mind between two people. I did this chapter by chapter until I got to the climax. I then knew the path it was going to take and was satisfied with how it ended. Mic drop.

I can’t wait to see how they translate the story to TV, as the rights have already been sold to eOne!
