Fun Fact Friday

Since we are getting to know each other I thought I would share a few fun facts about myself over the next several weeks. Here’s my first:

I am a sucker for sugary sweet romance stories. ❤

When I signed up for BookBub my first download was a free ebook of Mary Campisi’s A Family Affair (Truth in Lies, #1). The initial synopsis grabbed me: it is a story about a man who lived dual lives with two separate families. Upon is death his oldest daughter finally learns his secret and once she visits the town of Magdalena, NY – where her dad often frequented – she may never look back.

As with any series you are introduced to a whole slew of characters whose stories will intertwine…currently into 13 books! I am hooked: it’s kind of like Grey’s Anatomy, where you feel like you know the characters and they are your friends (I know how that sounds, yikes). First, I know they aren’t real, second I divorced Grey’s when they killed McDreamy…that can be a whole other post (and there I go rambling again, oops).

Back to Mary Campisi’s Truth in Lies series:

They are quick reads and provide a nice escape for a bit. Campisi believes in second chances and her stories revolve around past regrets being made right. Hope you enjoy them too!

  1. I can’t remember if you were in the FB group on Dec. I read a cheesy romance for Christmas and it was wonderful- Christmas Falls. I highly recommend because I’m like you- cheesy romances are my guilty pleasure. I blame DeeJay.

    • They are more like second chance romances. I call them sugary sweet versus cheesy, because cheesy doesn’t sound very positive and I wouldn’t want that! 😬 I read these inbetween heavy fiction reads because they are much lighter.
