When I can’t focus and my reading mojo is suffering: I give audiobooks a whirl! I will admit I never gave audiobooks a second thought until last year, and now have no idea why.
Audiobooks have been great for road trips, while running errands, and they have been my savior when I am forced to do laundry (I hate this chore with a passion). SNR Jr. and I have daily early morning audiobook sessions; her first morning bottle we cuddle in our rocking chair and listen to a chapter of whatever I am listening to at the moment.
If you’ve read my reviews before you will know how I feel about narrators: they can make or break a book! And, if you are needing some recommendations check out my Libro.fm Top Picks Playlist. Happy Listening! XO

About Libro.fm:
Who? Libro.fm is the first audiobook company to make it possible for customers to purchase audiobooks through their local bookstore of choice. They are a small, independent company based in Seattle, WA, and have 900+ bookstore partners across 1,000+ locations. Libro.fm recently built Bookstore Link, a platform which offers a simple way to share a single link to both print and audiobooks, driving traffic to local bookstores websites vs. Amazon.
What? They offer over 125,000 audiobooks including New York Times Best Sellers and hundreds of bookseller recommendations. Customers can start monthly memberships, purchase individual audiobooks and gift both memberships and individual audiobooks. They offer the SAME audiobooks as Amazon’s Audible at the SAME price – our story is the big difference.
How? Customers create a free account and select their bookstore of choice. Each time a purchase is made (or they are charged for their monthly membership) their local bookstore receives a percentage of profits. Customer can download the free iOS or Android app for listening.
Other: DRM-Free – all of the audiobooks are free of being digitally managed. Translation: Unlike Audible, with Libro.fm you OWN the digital file, regardless. Read more here.
I am a proud 2020 Libro.fm Listening Squad member! I do receive a referral credit for new memberships who use my code; I thank you in advance if you wind up using it! It gives me additional access to amazing books and allows me to write more reviews for my readers. XO
I absolutely love audiobooks! I’ve got over 100 on my Audible app and haven’t even had a chance to check out some of the other amazing apps out there.

I wish I could enjoy audiobooks but I can’t. I’ve tried dozens and given up. I find that whilst I am listening my mind starts to wander and then I realise that I haven’t actually heard most of the story. I think I’m a visual reader. Shame as they would be good at the moment.
