A Year in Review – Saturday Nite Reader

Wow, another year flew by. This year my reading pace slowed a bit, but for good reason: my husband and I welcomed Saturday Nite Reader, Jr. in July!

In order to keep up with all the new releases I did up my audiobook game. Now that I am back to work I am using my commute time to pick up a book; they certainly make commuting more enjoyable. head in a book = leave me alone ;)

Since November 21st, 2018:

Wrote 51 blog posts
Read 64 books (13 posted reviews were rated 5 disco balls, there were a few more 5 star gems from my reading past but I’m a tad behind on review posts…oops.)
Gained 193 new WordPress followers with 2,779 followers overall (I love each and every one of you!)
4,609 people have visited Saturday Nite Reader at some point through-out 2019 (WOW!)

🎉 It’s my 2 Year Bookstaversary! 🎉 . A few things have changed since I’ve started the gram. My library has grown exponentially (its organized chaos, or at least that is what I call it), I found out I love nonfiction (hello Bad Blood anyone?!), I’ve made wonderful friends from near and far who love books as much – if not more – than I, and last but certainly not least I’ve gotten myself a new sidekick aka SNR Jr. ☺️ . What hasn’t changed: I don’t take myself too seriously 🤪, I’m not a professional photographer no matter how hard I try 😂, I insert a bit of humor in all my reviews whenever I can, and I simply love being a part of the booksta community. . Here’s to all the books – good and bad – that made me laugh, cry, gave me goosebumps, made me mad, made me FEEL. And, thanks for making my commute more bearable, I am very thankful for that. . When my husband suggested that I start my book blog last year I did not know where it would head (and maybe still don’t – hehe – but that’s okay); to say its been a fun, wild ride is an understatement. It has opened up my world to new friends, authors and books. I can’t wait to see what the next year will bring!
